HIDEKAZU HINATA - STRAIGHTNENR Hidekazu Hinata grew up on listening to his sisters Rock, Punk, EMO, Funk, R&B, and Hip-Hop records and started on bass at the age of 13. In 2002 He signed with major label band ART-SCHOOL. One year with the band was enough to get the word out about his skills as bass player and led him to join the bands ZAZEN BOYS and STRAIGHTNENR. With a refined sense of bass playing and emotional performance mixed with his advanced techniques he is one of today's top bass players in Japan on the rock scene. Recently Hidekazu has developed his skills even further launching his own label, producing and doing session work for other artists, as well as starting new band projects. He is currently active as a bass player for STRAIGHTNENR, Nothing's Carved In Stone, Entity Of Rude, FULLARMOR and killing Boy.
